FAIR PLAY. CLEAR RULES.
PLAYTEST RULES · CASH CHAMPIONSHIPS NOT OPENKNOCKSIDE is free to enter. Skill and placement decide the winner. Buying cosmetics or holding tokens gives no competitive advantage.
How a match works
Move with WASD or the arrow keys, dash with Space, and hold E at the central button when it unlocks. Mobile players use the thumbstick and action buttons. Impacts build stagger and increase knockback. Fall off the platform and you’re out. Last player standing wins.
Ranked play
Ranked requires a saved account secured with a passkey. Prize eligibility separately requires a verified human identity. Eight to sixteen humans play each match; bots and parties are excluded. Every player begins at 1,000 ELO. Your placement is compared with each opponent’s placement and rating. The first ten ranked matches are provisional. All rating changes are recorded in an auditable ledger after results are finalized.
Planned season qualification
Each season lasts fourteen days. Eligibility requires thirty ranked matches that season, ten ranked matches in its final seventy-two hours, a unique prize-eligible verified identity, accepted rules, required age, a supported jurisdiction, and no unresolved integrity flags. The top sixteen eligible players qualify; ranks seventeen through twenty-four are alternates. Random hazards never appear in ranked or championship matches.
Planned championship format
Sixteen finalists play five predetermined rounds. Placement awards sixteen points for first through one point for sixteenth. The top eight play five grand final rounds; points are 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Ties use final wins, top-three finishes, KOs, stage-one result, and qualifier ELO in that order. Full remaining ties use a published stable player identifier order. Rotation and configuration hashes are committed before play.
Planned prize funding
Prize pools contain received and reconciled funds. No estimated volume or future fees count as funded money. Prize percentages are 40% / 20% / 12% / 8%, then 4% for each of fifth through eighth, and 0.5% for each of ninth through sixteenth. Prizes use USDC and require approved multisig settlement.
Fair play and privacy
Server-authoritative physics prevents clients from choosing their position, cooldowns, results, ELO, or prizes. Automation abuse, intentional feeding, and collusion trigger review. Risk signals do not automatically prove cheating. Match replays and competitive actions are retained for review. Open public text and voice chat are unavailable.
Cash championship release requirements
This development build has no cash championship. Operators must publish counsel-reviewed official rules, jurisdiction and age criteria, identity verification, sanctions screening, tax reporting procedures, dispute procedures, and payout deadlines before accepting entrants into a monetary championship. Devnet tokens have no monetary value.
